ADA Technologies Vision Statement

ADA Technologies, Inc. has spent its early years roaming the landscape of technology development. Funding through the federal government’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program has allowed the company to hone a vision for building an organization of lasting value. From the early years, ADA Technologies has been recognized as a leading commercializer of government-funded research. With a foundation of technology development, the company has built capabilities in business, marketing and strategic planning.

Just as 3M started humbly in the mining business, ADA Technologies started by performing opportunistic technology development programs. The founders of 3M, driven by a need to find profitable business, recognized the value of mine tailings in creating sandpapers and grinding wheels. ADA Technologies would like to be recognized as recreating the 3M success story by moving from a base of technology innovation to become a leading business developer.

ADA Technologies had been driven by the desire to commercialize technology in order to create a success story for the SBIR program. Now the drive to commercialize has taken over and the company is focused on creating successful businesses. ADA’s founders want to see profits generated through the development of highly profitable spinout entities, each focused on an innovative application of technology for the improvement of quality of life.

An envisioned future sees ADA Technologies as the leading commercializer of SBIR-funded (early venture) technology over the next 20 years. Entrepreneurial researchers and technologists will come to ADA Technologies to commercialize their technologies. In addition, ADA Technologies will be recognized internationally for its culture and core values.
